Tekuma has no written platform that I could find. Its leader, Elkana Federman, has laid out his positions in short videos instead: disability ratings for Nova survivors and combat-trauma victims, immunity for soldiers, prison for those responsible for October 7, and dismantling the Palestinian Authority.1585
Who is Tekuma?
This list is called Tekuma, ballot letter kuf, ק. Its registered name is Derech Hazon VeTekuma, and Elkana Federman is first of thirteen candidates.123
It's a new party, not the older Tekuma that was part of the National Union, and not a separate group called the Tekuma movement that is running a turnout campaign.314
What has Tekuma published?
I found no platform document and no website.15
What I did find is about a dozen short videos on the party's Instagram account and on Federman's own verified account, where he speaks to camera, plus an interview on Channel 14 in August. I transcribed the videos by machine, so the quotes still need a check against the audio.785
Tekuma's positions, topic by topic
The same twelve topics, in the same order, for every party. Where nothing was published, the episode says so.
What does Tekuma say about security and foreign policy?
On Channel 14, Federman said he wants to "dismantle the Oslo Accords and the Palestinian Authority." He didn't say how.5
In the party's launch video he calls for "a real war in all sectors," with no rounds and no ceasefires, "until the enemy begs" for it to stop. A later party video calls for "a wide-scale war" to "clean out terror once and for all."711
What does Tekuma say about accountability for October 7?
He says nobody has paid a price for October 7, and that it's time those responsible "pay a heavy price, in prison for life."8
In another party video he addresses the former head of the Shin Bet, Ronen Bar, by name, and says that in the next Knesset the party will make sure he is questioned, stands trial and goes to prison for life.12
He doesn't say whether this would go through the courts, new legislation or a commission, and I couldn't find a position on a state commission of inquiry.81215
What does Tekuma say about the economy and the cost of living?
The launch video lists the economy and cutting bureaucracy as subjects, without a proposal. I couldn't find a stated position on taxes, prices or wages.715
What every party says about the economy and the cost of living
What does Tekuma say about housing?
I couldn't find a stated position on housing in the material I reviewed.15
What does Tekuma say about religion and state?
On religion and state, I found nothing published in the material I reviewed.15
What does Tekuma say about the judiciary and governance?
His most repeated proposal is a law giving IDF soldiers immunity during operational activity. In an October 1 video he says, "I will legislate an immunity law." He links it to his own summons by the military police after he killed a terrorist. He doesn't say whether the immunity covers investigation, prosecution or both.138
What does Tekuma say about education?
On education, he names the subject in the launch video, and on Channel 14 he said he wants to take care of reservists who are students. He didn't describe a program.75
What does Tekuma say about health?
The most detailed proposal is about disability ratings. A party post says the state must automatically give every Nova survivor a 50% disability rating for the next ten to twenty years, "without unnecessary questions and without humiliation in committees."9
In other videos he applies the same 50% rating to combat-trauma victims, and in one he widens it to Gaza border residents and anyone mentally injured on October 7, paid through National Insurance and the Defense Ministry. In one version, a committee would review cases after ten to twenty years, once the state has built a rehabilitation program. A 50% rating is a disability percentage, not a set payment.810
What does Tekuma say about social welfare, pensions and the elderly?
Those ratings would be paid through National Insurance. I couldn't find a stated position on pensions or the elderly.815
What every party says about social welfare, pensions and the elderly
What does Tekuma say about Arab citizens and minorities?
On paying for the ratings, he gives two answers. In one video, the money now transferred to the Palestinian Authority. In another, he says, "stop giving this money to the Arabs and start taking care of the fighters." He doesn't say which money he means.810
I couldn't find any other position on Arab citizens or minorities.15
What does Tekuma say about immigration, absorption and the diaspora?
I couldn't find a stated position on immigration, absorption or the diaspora in the material I reviewed.15
What every party says about immigration, absorption and the diaspora
What does Tekuma say about the environment, energy and transportation?
On the environment, energy or transportation, I found nothing published in the material I reviewed.15
What every party says about the environment, energy and transportation
What Tekuma puts front and center
His theme is that the generation that fought should lead. His launch post calls for "leadership by fighters and workers who come to work."4
What Tekuma hasn't published
So the positions are short and mostly spoken, and there's no written platform behind them. On housing, religion and state, immigration and the environment, I couldn't find anything. Older posts behind Instagram's login were not reviewed.15

Takuma has no written platform that I could find. Its leader, Elkanah Fetterman, has laid out his positions in short videos instead: disability ratings for NOVA survivors and combat trauma victims, immunity for soldiers, prison for those responsible for October 7th, and dismantling the Palestinian Authority. About this series
English-speaking voters ahead of the October 27th election. One party per episode. I only use the party itself as made public: their platform, their website, their official accounts, and on the record statements by their leaders. If they didn't publish it, it doesn't count. And if they publish nothing, that's the episode. This list is called Takuma, Ballot Letter Kuf. Its registered name is Der Chazon VeTekuma,

and Elkanah Fetterman is first of 13 candidates. It's a new party, not the older Takuma that was part of the National Union, and not a separate group called the Takuma Movement that is running a "turnout" campaign. I found no platform document and I found no website.
What they've published
What I did find is about a dozen short videos on the party's Instagram account and on Fetterman's own verified account, where he speaks to camera, plus an interview on Channel 14 in August. I transcribed the video so the quotes will be from the video directly. On Channel 14, Fetterman said he wants to "dismantle the Oslo Accords and the

In his party's launch video, he calls for a "real war in all sectors" with no rounds and no ceasefires, a "until the enemy begs" for it to stop. A later party video calls for a "widescale war to clean out terror once and for all." He says nobody has paid a price for October 7th, and that it's time that those who are

He doesn't say whether this would go through the courts, through new legislation, or a commission. And I couldn't find a position on a "state commission of inquiry" for October 7th. The launch video lists the economy and cutting bureaucracy as subjects, without a reposal.
Economy and cost of living
I couldn't find a stated position on taxes, or a position on prices, or a position on wages. I could not find a stated position on the topic of "housing" in all the material that

I reviewed. On "Religion and State," I found nothing published in the material I reviewed, on any of the topics related to "religion and state." His most repeated proposal is a law giving IDF soldiers immunity during operational activity.
Judiciary and governance
In an October 1st video, he says, "I will legislate an immunity law." End quote. He links it to his own summons by the military police after he killed a terrorist. He doesn't say whether the immunity covers investigation, prosecution, or both. On "education," he names the subject in the launch video. And on "Channel 14," he said he wants to

take care of the reservists who are also students. But that is a desire, it is not a policy. He didn't actually describe a program. The most detailed proposal is about disability ratings. A party posts says the state must

automatically give every NOVA survivor a 50% disability rating for the next 10 to 20 years, "without unnecessary questions and without humiliation in committees." End quote. In other videos, he applies the same 50% rating to combat trauma victims. And in one, he widens it to Gaza border residents, people in the Gaza envelope, and anyone mentally injured on October 7th, paid through national insurance and the defense ministry. In one version, a committee would review cases after 10 to 20 years, once the state has built a rehabilitation program. A 50% rating is a disability percentage. It's not a set payment. Those ratings would be paid through national insurance.

pensions or on the topic of the elderly. On paying for the ratings itself, he gives two answers.
Arab citizens and minorities
In one video, the money now transferred to the Palestinian Authority. In another, he says, "Stop giving this money to the Arabs and start taking care of the fighters." End quote. He doesn't say in that video and in that conversation which money he means. I couldn't find any other position on Arab citizens or on other minorities in the state. I couldn't find a stated position on immigration, absorption, or the diaspora in the material I reviewed.
Immigration, Environment: no stated position
On the environment, energy, or transportation, I found nothing published in the material I reviewed. His theme is that the generation that fought should lead. His launch post calls for "leadership by

fighters and workers who come to work." So the positions are short and mostly spoken, and there's no written platform behind them. On housing, religion and state, immigration, and the environment, I couldn't find anything. That's what Takuma has put on the record as of this recording. Every source I use is linked in the description, most of them in Hebrew, so you can read them yourself. If they publish more before October 27th, I will do my best to put an update in the comments. Next is list number 35, The Joint List, and the full playlist is linked below. The Close Read is free to watch and free to listen, and if you'd like to support it, you'll find me on Patreon at patreon.com/thecloseread, linked in the description.
