# Tekuma: what they've published

Tekuma has no written platform that I could find. Its leader, Elkana Federman, has laid out his positions in short videos instead: disability ratings for Nova survivors and combat-trauma victims, immunity for soldiers, prison for those responsible for October 7, and dismantling the Palestinian Authority. ## Who is Tekuma?

This list is called Tekuma, ballot letter kuf, ק. Its registered name is Derech Hazon VeTekuma, and Elkana Federman is first of thirteen candidates. [S1](#source-s1)[S2](#source-s2)[S3](#source-s3)

It's a new party, not the older Tekuma that was part of the National Union, and not a separate group called the Tekuma movement that is running a turnout campaign. [S3](#source-s3)[S14](#source-s14)

## What has Tekuma published?

What I did find is about a dozen short videos on the party's Instagram account and on Federman's own verified account, where he speaks to camera, plus an interview on Channel 14 in August. ## What does Tekuma say about security and foreign policy?

On Channel 14, Federman said he wants to "dismantle the Oslo Accords and the Palestinian Authority." He didn't say how. [S5](#source-s5)

In the party's launch video he calls for "a real war in all sectors," with no rounds and no ceasefires, "until the enemy begs" for it to stop. A later party video calls for "a wide-scale war" to "clean out terror once and for all." [S7](#source-s7)[S11](#source-s11)

## What does Tekuma say about accountability for October 7?

He says nobody has paid a price for October 7, and that it's time those responsible "pay a heavy price, in prison for life." [S8](#source-s8)

In another party video he addresses the former head of the Shin Bet, Ronen Bar, by name, and says that in the next Knesset the party will make sure he is questioned, stands trial and goes to prison for life. [S12](#source-s12)

## What does Tekuma say about the economy and the cost of living?

The launch video lists the economy and cutting bureaucracy as subjects, without a proposal. I couldn't find a stated position on taxes, prices or wages. [S7](#source-s7)[S15](#source-s15)

## What does Tekuma say about the judiciary and governance?

His most repeated proposal is a law giving IDF soldiers immunity during operational activity. In an October 1 video he says, "I will legislate an immunity law." He links it to his own summons by the military police after he killed a terrorist. He doesn't say whether the immunity covers investigation, prosecution or both. [S13](#source-s13)[S8](#source-s8)

## What does Tekuma say about education?

On education, he names the subject in the launch video, and on Channel 14 he said he wants to take care of reservists who are students. He didn't describe a program. [S7](#source-s7)[S5](#source-s5)

## What does Tekuma say about health?

The most detailed proposal is about disability ratings. A party post says the state must automatically give every Nova survivor a 50% disability rating for the next ten to twenty years, "without unnecessary questions and without humiliation in committees." [S9](#source-s9)

In other videos he applies the same 50% rating to combat-trauma victims, and in one he widens it to Gaza border residents and anyone mentally injured on October 7, paid through National Insurance and the Defense Ministry. In one version, a committee would review cases after ten to twenty years, once the state has built a rehabilitation program. A 50% rating is a disability percentage, not a set payment. ## What does Tekuma say about social welfare, pensions and the elderly?

Those ratings would be paid through National Insurance. I couldn't find a stated position on pensions or the elderly. [S8](#source-s8)[S15](#source-s15)

## What does Tekuma say about Arab citizens and minorities?

On paying for the ratings, he gives two answers. In one video, the money now transferred to the Palestinian Authority. In another, he says, "stop giving this money to the Arabs and start taking care of the fighters." He doesn't say which money he means. [S8](#source-s8)[S10](#source-s10)
